Extreme Simple Green, Simple Green’s new aircraft and precision cleaning product, cuts through tough, built up grease, oil, dirt, pollution, insect residue and impact soils. Extreme Simple Green gets its superior cleaning from a unique “triple play” cleaning formula. Two high performance surfactants and a new generation grease lifter/cutter combine to get the soil away from the aircraft surface quickly and then keep it away so that it can be cleanly rinsed away.

Extreme Simple Green’s speed of grease cutting and its high capacity to hold grease, oil and soils in solution during cleaning and rinsing time are the keys to performance. This equals fast cleaning and no-redeposition, but Extreme Simple Green is also able to go into oil/water separators and have oil break from solution.

Extreme Simple Green’s safety upon aircraft materials and precision cleaning surfaces comes from a combination of proven anti-corrosion agents. A time tested coupling agent allows these to work together to battle corrosion and hydrogen embrittlement. These same qualities make Extreme Simple Green safe to put through pressure washing equipment, rack wash systems, dip tanks and parts washers, without any equipment damage.

The components of Extreme Simple Green are all low-toxicity compounds and the product contains no “solvents”. This leads to an excellent worker’s safety environment. All of the components are biodegradable, so Extreme Simple Green won’t accumulate in the environment and rinse-waste can be handled by standard waste water treatment methods. Extreme Simple Green meets or exceeds current and reasonably anticipated VOC requirements. It also contains no Clean Air Act Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs), nor is it a RCRA hazardous waste in and of itself when disposed.

AquaClean 170

Low VOC Multi-Purpose Water Base Cleaner

Removes: grease, wax silicone, adhesives, tar, tree sap, insects, dirt and sanding residue. AquaClean 170 is a water base, low VOC, Multi-Purpose Cleaner for use in initial and final surface prep.

APPLICATION

·     Wash surface with mild detergent and water.

·     Rinse and dry surface.

·     Soak clean cloth with AquaClean 170.

·       Wipe surface with AquaClean 170 and wipe dry with clean cloth before product dries.

TECH TIPS

·     AquaClean 170 should not be allowed to dry on the surface. If this occurs, re-apply 170 using a clean cloth, and wipe dry.

·     Useful for sensitive surfaces.

·     Always replace cap after use.

·     May be applied with spray bottle.

·     May be used as a “wet-sanding” lubricant.

MIXING RATIO

Mix three (3) parts 999VP to one (1) part CPS 1-5.


 

National Rule: For use as a primer mix four (4) parts tinted 999VP with one (1) part VPC50 or VPC5X and reduce with one (1) part urethane reducer (170 Series) (4:1:1). When used as a sealer add an additional part of urethane reducer (4:1:2).

3.5 VOC: For use as a primer mix four (4) parts tinted 999VP with one (1) part VPC50 or VPC5X and reduce with one (1) part urethane reducer (170 Series) (4:1:1). When used as a sealer add an additional part X01 or X02 Exempt Reducer (4:1:1:1).

2.8 VOC: For use as a primer mix four (4) parts tinted 999VP with one (1) part VPC50 or VPC5X and reduce with one (1) part X01 or X02 Exempt Reducer (4:1 :1). When used as a sealer add an additional part of exempt reducer (4:1:2).

SURFACE PREPARATION

·  Wash surface with mild detergent and water.

·  Rinse and dry surface.

·  Wipe surface with 170 AquaClean and wipe dry with clean cloth before product flashes.

·  Sand and featheredge substrate with 240 grit sandpaper or equivalent.

·  Clean surface with 155 Surface Cleaner (not recommended as final wipe for aluminum substrates) or 170 AquaClean and wipe dry with clean cloth before product flashes.
